THE NUPTIAL MARCH: is the music opening and closing the wedding ceremony. It is a tradition coming from the times of Princess Victoria of England wedding who married Price Frederick William of Prussia. Princess Victoria chose the two marches herself: The Nuptial March by Mendelssohn for entering the church and the Lohengrin Opera by Wagner for leaving the church.

Personal choice: choosing the music to be listened to during the whole ceremony is a personal choice for bride and groom. If you choose classical music there is a long repertory to choose from. However if you choose regional or typical music please try to respect tradition. And if possible try to use original musical instruments (pipe, tabor ...).
